Meet Emmett and Pearl

 This is Emmett.
He was born in Emmett, Idaho.
I know it's Emmett because he has a little dark spot on his right side.
He is almost two weeks old and loves to sit on your lap.

 This is Pearl.
Look at her sweet little face.
She is 3 weeks old.

These little critters really are a lot of fun.
Since they are bottle fed they follow me everywhere.
They never wander off and are so affectionate.
They run and jump and twist and butt heads.
Very animated and entertaining.
I love animals.

Saturday Bike Ride

Saturday Billy and I rode our bikes down the Greenbelt in Boise.
The ride took us through two beautiful parks along the Boise River.
The weather was perfect, and the scenery amazing. I know I've been here
for 9 months, but I'm still in the honeymoon period where everything is
new and exciting. I love the trees, the flowers, the water, the animals, the
birds - the "green". This may not be the most beautiful place in
the world, but for me coming from the desert, it seems like paradise.

A portion of the trail

We rode twenty miles total.

Look at this sweet little lady.
She was so good to hold her pose long enough
for me to snap a picture.

Little Girls in Tutus

I enjoyed every part of raising boys. I remember as a young girl wanting boys instead of girls.
But oh my, look at these little princesses.
How lucky I was to be a mother of little boys,
now how lucky I am to be a gma to little girls.

Boise Idaho Temple

I love the temple grounds in the spring. The variety of flowers
add such beautiful color.

My Backyard Friends

Yesterday I heard this strange pounding noise coming from this tree across the street.
The culprit was this tiny little guy we know as, Woody Woodpecker.

Goslings!
Newest members of the pond across the street.

We hung a bird feeder in our backyard yesterday.
We've had several different birds stop by to eat.
I love the colorful finches.
